Our data centre will be conducting a live Generator Transfer Test September 5, 2025 at 2:00 AM EDT until 7:00 AM EDT.   

During this time, they will be testing their systems to verify that the load is successfully transferred to our backup generators by the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). 
Moreover, that the generators will carry the load for an extended period of time. 

Our data centre host is running this test to make sure they are fully prepared for an actual commercial power outage if one were to occur. 

Customers should NOT be affected by this testing unless there is an issue with the back-up systems in place. 

This would, of course, be an unforeseen issue as we are always committed to our continuing preventative maintenance on all our critical equipment. 

If there is an issue with the backup systems, they will immediately abort the testing and transfer back to commercial power. 

Our network operations engineers closely monitor the work and will do everything possible to minimize any inconvenience to you.
